We’re constantly tinkering at the inner workings of our machines, to increase their capabilities and their efficiency. Because we design and make all of our PCB’s in-house, we have creative and technical freedom. Our small team of programmers and engineers are able to experiment and test to develop our products, right here.  Often we’ll make small changes to how a machine works because we have plans for future upgrades. In this case, we’ve made a move that’s worth announcing right now.

The Arduino Mega 2560 has always been a part of our Winder and Tolerance Puller, they actually have a very similar board set up. This has been sitting underneath the PCB as a partnering component up until now. This week we streamlined both systems, by integrating the role of the Arduino into the PBC itself bônus. This also makes the system even more reliable.

This new set up has come into effect this week and will feature in all future orders of the Filiment Winder 2.0 and the Tolerance Puller (pictured below)
