At Noztek, we are committed to exploring the limits of innovation. Our passion lies in creating entirely new product designs that are not only revolutionary but also unprecedented on a global scale. Notable recent innovations include the fusionX extruder and the robotic printing Infinity conveyor. The fusionX hot melt extruder has advanced the capabilities of laboratory and composite mixing; however, its cost may be prohibitive for a significant number of customers. This factor prompted the Noztek team to look at other more cost effective options.
So the team engaged in the development of a novel type of screw that is capable of barrel mixing in a manner unprecedented in design. The prototype features an internal counter-rotational mechanism linked to a series of cutting blades. We believe this innovation will significantly enhance the mixing of composite materials in a molten state.
Different Types of Intermixer Screw Designs
We plan to produce three initial sizes of the component we refer to as the Noztek Intermixer screw. One size will be available as an optional upgrade for the Pro and Touch range, another will be designed for the Xcalibur extruder, and the third will cater to the new series of robotic and large format extruders
New Robotic Mixing Extruder
Here at Noztek we like to add our unique touch to any new product we design. So as we are now developing a robotic and large format extruder we will add in the mixing option capability. These pellet extruders will be fully integrated standalone systems, featuring a control unit that manages temperature, extrusion speed, and automatic material transport,
Our robotic printing conveyor has recently been highlighted in the esteemed Composite World magazine. This exposure has generated significant interest among companies seeking continuous additive manufacturing solutions that require minimal human involvement. Utilizing the Ethernet?IP protocol, it can effortlessly integrate with any robotic extrusion system.
